Dorien van Someren currently serves as Team Leader – Client Operations. In this role, she manages a team of highly skilled Project Managers working for clients across the EMEA region. Through her consultative approach with both market research companies and end clients, Dorien always focuses on better question design, interactivity and research advice to deliver Best In Class survey programming and the high quality data to our clients.

Prior to joining Lightspeed GMI, Dorien worked for several years as a Market Researcher at several research companies and is highly interested in (consumer) behavior.

Rational Buying Decisions in Online Market Research

I attended the Dutch Marketing & Insights Event (MIE) on 4 -5 February 2015. The MIE is organised by the Dutch Market Research Association (MOA) and is an annual returning event. This edition again contained a lot of interesting workshops which highly contribute to the knowledge and skills of market researchers. Without a doubt, the most discussed topic at MIE was Big Data and analyse techniques for traditional market research. For this blog I want to focus on the latter topic.
